15 arrests in five days❌

On Monday, we launched our Christmas drink and drug drive campaign as part of our commitment to keeping North Yorkshire’s roads safe at one of the busiest times of the year. 

The campaign began with us releasing a 60 second hard hitting social media reel which shows the impact of making the wrong choice.

Since Monday, we have arrested 15 people in five days for drink or / and drug driving. 

As the party season is now upon us our town and city centres are busy with festive events. 

If you’re drinking, even if you just have one, then arrange another way of getting home. #howrugetting🏠Arrested? Crash? Dead? or a Taxi? 

Tonight, and this weekend we will be back out in force as we have a zero-tolerance approach to drink and drug driving. We can’t be everywhere, but we could be anywhere. 👀

Please don’t gamble, with your life, your future by drink and drug driving. It’s simply not worth the risk. 🙏 Will you make it 🏠 for Christmas?
